Sportways Summer Field Hockey Camp

This year SEAtoSKY FHC has combined forces with the Vancouver Hawks and Sportways, the world’s leading field hockey camp organizers, to host two 4-day camps focused on developing your hockey skills to take your game to the next level. Sessions will be led by Sportways Dutch Elite coaches who bring proven world-class training techniques to provide an international flavour to fun-filled sessions. Two different dates are available and carpool between the North Shore and Hamber field will be a set up. Spaces for the best summer field hockey experience in the Lower Mainland are limited so sign-up now to secure your spot and bring along a friend.

Here is a note from the Women’s National Team:
As you may have heard, thanks to your support, the Canadian Women’s National Field Hockey Team is headed to the 2022 World Cup in Terrassa, Spain this July! This is the first time the team has qualified for this tournament in 28 years — since 1994! We are so proud of this accomplishment!
In order to afford the necessary preparations, the team is hosting several fundraising initiatives and is inviting the community to be a part of their historic World Cup run! If you would be willing to provide your club members with the information below we would be so grateful.
Back the Pack Camps:
Join the WNT for a fun afternoon of skills, drills, games, and a meet & greet! Receive coaching from national team players and learn the skills that have helped them defy expectations on the world stage.
May 29th at Winskill Turf from 4-6pm.
Fee: $25
All proceeds to the Women’s National Team. A Donation Booth will be at the field if you want to contribute more.
This is a fantastic opportunity to train with the best!

Note: The Women’s National Team will be at Winskill for the U10 program from 2-3:30 pm on May 29th.
Registration is not required for U10’s. A donation booth will be at the field.


Nominations and applications are now being accepted for the Graeme Carswell “Follow Your Dreams” Award. This $500 bursary will be awarded to a deserving young Falcon or Falcon Alumni who best exemplifies the characteristics of Graeme. who tragically passed away in 2016.
These characteristics include:
1.Follow their dreams.
2. Live their passions.
3. Always be kind.
4. Be a positive example for their team-mates in whatever sport they play.
5. Be self-less, humble, spontaneous, modest, charismatic and have a sense of humour.
6. Appreciate and love music.
7. Have compassion and respect for others.
8. Give their time freely to mentor younger people.
9. Be genuine.
10. Make a difference.

The deadline for the application is May 27th, 2022.


Falcons Field Hockey is proud to offer scholarships to deserving graduates. Scholarships of $500 towards post secondary education are awarded each year to deserving students.

The application deadline is April 30th, 2022 Applications form can be found in the attached document, or in the Documents section on the website (bottom right hand corner of the site)
